"Everyone is doing well. The puppies are all gaining weight and now weigh at least half as much again as their birth weight. We still haven't given them names so they are either known by the colour of their collar or the number they came out, that is apart from number 1 who is affectionately known as Gobby Pup - she was making a real racket when she came out and has continued to do so! (although the rest of them can be quite vocal too, especially when they need their bellies filling). Number 7 is referred to as Fat Pup, for obvious reasons. The little guy would never stop feeding given a choice and trying to get him off Jess is quite a struggle.
Jess is settling down to her new routine quite well, she has realised that when the pups are quiet she needs to catch up on her sleep, the first few days she constantly wanted them and kept waking them up. Now she knows - sleep is best!
